I’d intended to get some good pictures of these today.
But we’re at that time of year here in the Pacific Northwest where we get roughly fourteen minutes of daylight per day, and that light is probably just dim, cloudy blue. It’s fantastic for me, since I appear to be roughly 78% bat, but it’s definitely not good for photos.
So, here are some bad photos instead.
All three of the stickers came out good, though. And they’re packaged together in a cute little bag (some are clear, some are glassine, because I’m trying to be all eco-friendly and use what I have) with a little flyer of the stories behind the ladies’ arrests.
The stickers really are soft-touch. That’s that weird rose petal-like texture. I’m not sure why I’m sort of in love with that finish, but I am. I like to pet things1.
Photography is hard in the dark.
So I’ll be getting better pictures of these next week, when I can dig out my huge studio lights. Maybe. If I can find them. And sometime after the holidays, I’ll plop these up on Etsy for around $10-ish for all three and the flyer-zine. Unless the sun continues to play Catch Me If You Can and doesn’t really show up, and the lights are in Clutter Purgatory™, in which case it might be, like, April2.
In other project news:
I’m done with all the cards for the Triple Match game, and I’ve started to lay them out with the rules. Truth: I didn’t do anything yesterday other than kind of lay around for half the day and go pet strangers’ dogs at Michael’s. That was enough to wear me out, and I slept for something like twelve hours after the exertion.
(Kids…start mentally preparing now. Getting old is no joke. Hooboy.)
So I’ll be back next week with some photos of the game, possibly the stickers, and likely the two A-ARC/Volume 1 oracle cards.
I have to say — this project’s been more involved than I imagined, but has also been super fun so far. With all the changing components, it makes my ADHD brain happy, and I get to make fun things.
Even if I can’t photograph them until summer-ish. :D
Hope you’re all preparing for a fantastic weekend, and that you get at least a little Vitamin D in the process.
Minds out of the gutter, you. YKWIM.
There are more things in Clutter Purgatory than I want to admit. Like my spare keys.
You are so creative!
They are DEEvine. And if Canada Post ever gets its shit together I will be ordering post haste(ha! See what I did there?) assuming, of course, you send North of the border. 😍
