Omg! I loved the set of childcraft books when I was little. Fun recipe stuff and other things to make. Fond memories. I had them for a while once I moved out..alas..water damage took them. =(

Bummer! Stupid water!

I'm totally digging them. I've only had a chance to go through a few of them so far, but the illustrations are making me all swoony. 1973 was a very good year for drawing, apparently. :D

There was a recipe for Boston baked beans that I remember making as a wee lass of like 9 or 10. Apparently the recipe was good enough that my family asked for me to make it on repeat over the years.. can't remember now tho. 30+ years later lol.

I hope you find more fun creative stuffs!

Oh gosh, thank you for the laugh! (Oliver's new single.) I needed that! I still need to email you. I have a doctor's appt. This week, so maybe I'll get it together later in the week or over the weekend.

I've had some shocks recently and am still a but discombobulated. I found my best friend from college had died in 2019 (we'd lost touch with all my moving around and her becoming chief of staff of her hospital). Then I got a glaucoma diagnosis in the eye that I'd had cataract surgery in (researching symptoms, I think it'd been brewing a few years). Then just the other day I noticed my next door neighbor's sister and kids moving his stuff out. When I inquired she told me he had been a passenger in a car which was t-boned in an accident. He couldn't surmount his injuries and died. It's been a weird time recently. Big sigh 😕.
