How much do I love cheapo camera/printers! I actually gifted one to my grandkids and I know they never use it. If I could just figure out how to get it back...

ALSO! I bet if you used the markers or paint even and slapped it down onto a gelplate you could get a print!

So. Much. Fun!

OOOH...I didn't even think about gelli prints.

I know what I'm doing later today now. :D

(And bribe them. Offer the grandkids something else in trade. Claim you're teaching them the barter economy or something. It's *educational*!)

Okay, I had pretty much sworn off requesting stuff from my Uncle Vinny, but he's been pushing a similar camera at me, and.... Well, after seeing this, I said yes, totally breaking my resolve NOT to acquire more things. When it shows up here, I'll tell my husband it's all your fault. * ROTFL * (Seriously, that camera looks so cool, hubby may decide he wants one. In blue, of course. ;) LOL )

I can't wait to see what you do with it.

(Also, give my apologies to the hubster. :D)

And seriously, I think I would go for the dog shaped one...why not go all out with the fun?

Ha! I’ve got one of those printers too. Some prints have faded faster than others in the same notebook? Hit and miss, but fun to play with.

I didn't realize they'd fade so fast in a notebook! I wonder if there's anything that you could spray on it to keep it from doing so? May have to flex the google-fingers later. :)

You are a bad, bad woman. I'm trying to get RID of things. I really wanna try this out...

Well, it's pretty small. And fairly cheap. So you could probably get one, try it out, and gift it to an actual child after you're done. That way, it's not REALLY clutter, it's a *gift*. :D

I had to add after checking out said link, it does come with an SD card so really, you could print out any awesome photos on actual photo paper is you so desire. Not that it will look anything like the actual print out on the thermal paper....but the photos are there.

True facts. I also saw someone on Youtube who put his own digital photos onto the card (using the camera's own naming system to get it to recognize them), and was able to get the cool thermal print effect with much better photos, and there was a significant jump in quality of the prints.

It's just so *versatile*. :D

Wow. When I get it, because let’s be honest, I will get one, I’m going to have to check that out.

I don't know if you saw the thread on FB, but a friend mentioned that you could probably do double exposures with it, too. I tried it. Just printed the first photo like normal, then rolled the paper back in manually and VOILA. DOUBLE X.

For being a toy, this thing is kinda awesome.

I haven’t seen it on FB yet. But will definitely check it out. And add that to the list of things to try. So much fun to be had.

It looks like such fun! And yes, they will fade over time, just like a store receipt as it's the same thing basically. .
