Hey folkes -- I normally don't restack stuff, but this is the last day to opt out of Meta's AI training with your data, and the process to do that is long and unnecessarily complicated. This post gives you all the steps you need. Most of you know I mostly-left Facebook for this kind of heinous fuckery, so I felt this was important enough to share. If you're in the US, with our rather dubious data protection regulations, it may or may not be completely effective, but it's still worth doing -- if for no other reason than overwhelming them with removal requests so they can see a significant portion of us don't want stuff we've freely shared with friends to be used to teach an AI how to steal more from us. May the odds be ever in our favor. -
